Open until: 30.04.2025, opening hours: TUE-SAT 12.00-18.00

This is the artist’s first exhibition in his hometown. It will present older works oscillating around the Suprematism of Kazimir Malevich as well as his latest paintings, in which he conducts a dialogue with classical iconography in a neoplastic approach. The title of the exhibition refers to a quite common iconographic motif, the pipe. It was present in Baroque vanitas still lifes, later as a kind of attribute of artistic bohemia, up to philosophical considerations in the paintings of Rene Magritte or the post-artistic activities of Marcel Duchamp.
