Grafika w technice malarskiej w formie pionowego prostokąta. Na krwisto-czerwonym tle naga prawie biała, lekko różowa postać kobieca ukazana z lewego boku w pozie lunatykowania z pochylonymi do tyłu plecami, na ugiętych nogach oraz wyciągniętymi przed siebie rękami z opuszczonymi dłońmi i otwartymi oczami. Przed nią, czyli w lewą stronę wyrastają jej z ciała poniżej kolejnych sześć rąk w podobnej pozie, te ręce są jakby zwielokrotnione, niektóre mniej wyraźne. Włosy ma ciemne, czarne uczesane w kucyk, grzywkę. Prawy górny róg obrazu jest czarny. Ze środka spoza prawej krawędzi obrazu wystaje niebieska obca dłoń, która chwyta postać za koniec kucyka, który jest jasnym kosmykiem.

The artist refers to complex personal family relationships, emotional connections and entanglements in the context of female sexuality and corporeality. Her work carries a strong psychological message related to the feeling of sadness, pain, violence, lack of fulfillment and manipulation, and focuses on women’s feelings.
The exhibition will present a wide selection of her works – from seemingly idyllic painted portraits – to traumatic representations in various stylistic and media approaches.

Anna Orbaczewska (born 1974) – visual artist, creates paintings, drawings and ceramics. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Lives in Gdańsk.
